I was told that Big Jack Johnson passed away earlier this week.
Big Jack has been a staple at the Juke Joint Festival and a part of my Juke Joint Experience. He will be greatly missed.
I read a comment on an obituary site that said the Blues greats are dying quicker than they are being born. Very sad and true.
